We want to inform customers and partners of the ongoing operational delays at DP World Southampton, which began yesterday afternoon and are continuing into today.
Our hauliers have reported:
- Up to two hours queueing to enter the terminal
- A further three hours waiting on the quay for lift-off/on once booked in via the VBS system
- No communication or explanation from DP World regarding the reason for the disruption
At present, there is no confirmed timeframe for when normal operations will resume.
These delays are already creating significant disruption to planned deliveries and may continue to affect schedules into tomorrow, depending on how long trucks remain held at the terminal.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that we are working hard to minimise disruption across our operation. We will continue to share updates if the situation changes.
