We’ve always believed that logistics is just as much about people as it is about cargo. And last Friday, that belief was brought to life during a brilliant day spent with one of our long-standing customers, De Rijke, in Rotterdam.
Our Import Customs Manager, Damian Harley, and Assistant Customs Manager, Isabelle Walker, made the trip over to meet the team face to face – something we don’t take for granted in a world of emails and Teams calls. They were warmly welcomed at De Rijke, where they spent time discussing operations, catching up with the team, and exploring how we can continue to support each other in the years ahead.
Of course, no visit to Rotterdam is complete without a bit of sightseeing! Damian and Isabelle also had the chance to take in the city from the top of the Euromast, one of the city’s best-known landmarks.
A big thank you to Bert and Martijn for being such fantastic hosts. Visits like these are a great reminder of why we do what we do, and how strong partnerships help everything run smoother, from customs clearance to final delivery. We’re proud to work with De Rijke Group and look forward to continuing this brilliant partnership.
